The 2011 season is about to get under way. Hopefully, the weather will make a turn for the better, so the grass will start to green up!! With this being my first year at Sutton Bay, I am very excited to meet everyone. We are starting to fill up on some days for this summer, so make your plans early to come visit us!! Please let me know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable!!
With Kind Regards,
Scott Larson, Director of Operations
The golf course is still open but will be closing in the next 10-15 days. The course has been in great shape and we are having a wonderful fall weather wise. We will be blowing out the irrigation system and spraying hydromulch on the greens in the coming days and once the hydromulch is down the course will be closed. 2010 has been a great year at Sutton Bay for golf and we are already looking forward to 2011.
The grasses love the cooler nights and less stressful temps of late. We will continue to work on some projects that are on our list and will keep the course open for your enjoyment for as long as the weather allows us. The long range forecast for October is for warmer and drier than normal so plan your next trip to Sutton Bay and plan on some golf and a pheasant hunt! Either way, there are great shots waiting for you.
The course came through the fall aeration and is back to 100%. Our greens are rolling true and the fairways are in great shape. Recent temperatures in the 80’s make it a spectacular time to come out and play. Our plan is be open through October, and even later if Mother Nature allows.
Join us at Sutton Bay and experience the best of what fall has to offer.
The season is off to a great start. The golf course is in outstanding condition. The fishing is starting to get good and the ranch looks great. Come see us for golf, fishing, horseback riding, pontoon rides or just relax with a massage or other spa services. We have some great two-night, three-day packages. Our food is better than ever so come out and enjoy Sutton Bay.
