If you are coming from the north or from Minneapolis (and not going on I-90 through Sioux Falls) take US Hwy 212 through South Dakota to US Hwy 83. Take Hwy 83 south to Agar, SD. Agar (very small town) is 12 miles south of US Hwy 212 on US Hwy 83. (Agar is 9 miles north of Onida on US Hwy 83). Go west from Agar on 176th St, the asphalt county road for 12 miles. This is the only road going west from Agar and on the corner is Eric’s Custom Repair (small service station). After 12 miles you will come to a curve in the road (the curve goes south). Get off at this curve and go north on 291st Ave. Follow 291st Ave approx 3 miles north and you see the lodge and the entrance to Sutton Bay.
